SWIMMING FOR BABIES

The youngest members of the family can now enjoy their very first swimming lesson at Tõrva Veemõnula. Babies aged 4 months to 1.5 years are welcome to join our baby swimming classes. Together, we will help your baby become comfortable in the water, learn to enjoy it, and help parents overcome any fears they may have!

After birth, water is the most natural environment for babies. Swimming helps develop the mobility and endurance they need throughout life. Enjoying time in the water has a calming effect on infants, relaxes their tiny muscles, and, of course, brings lots of wonderful emotions and joy!

To register, email torvavesiaeroobika@gmail.com and include the child’s name and age, as well as the parent’s contact details.

WATER AEROBICS TRAINING

Water aerobics training sessions are held at Tõrva Veemõnula!

Water aerobics is a 45-minute group workout performed to upbeat music. It is an intensive group workout that targets all major muscle groups through a variety of exercises, including running, jumping, and strength exercises, as well as the use of different training equipment such as gloves, pool noodles, and dumbbells.

Swimming skills are not required, as the workout takes place in chest-deep water. Exercising in water is suitable for everyone because the weightless-like state in the water reduces stress on the joints.

The goals of the training are: maintaining and improving joint mobility; developing muscular endurance, aerobic endurance, balance, and coordination; maintaining and improving respiratory and cardiovascular function; reducing the load on the joints; promoting weight loss; and reducing muscle tension and pain.

After the class, you may feel very different, from moderately tired to full of energy. However, most participants leave the session feeling great.

If you have any health concerns or medical conditions, be sure to inform the instructor as soon as possible to help prevent injuries.

Training sessions take place on Mondays and Thursdays at 6:15 PM.
No training sessions are held from June to September!

The number of places in each training session is limited, so please register in advance by emailing torvavesiaeroobika@gmail.com or through the Facebook group.

There are no training sessions on public holidays or during school holidays!

To participate in the training, purchase a Veemõnula ticket at the reception desk for a suitable length of time.
